Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made it clear that a return to his former club Barcelona is not in the cards. Speaking to the media, the Spanish coach firmly ruled out the possibility of managing the Catalan side again.

“It’s over. Over forever. It was a beautiful chapter, but it’s closed,” Guardiola told Barça Universal, putting an end to persistent speculation about a potential comeback to Camp Nou.

Guardiola famously led FC Barcelona between 2008 and 2012, winning 14 trophies, including two Champions League titles, and is often credited with building one of the greatest club teams in football history.

Since 2016, he has been at the helm of Manchester City, transforming the English club into a dominant force in both domestic and European competitions. His current contract runs until the summer of 2027, indicating a continued commitment to the Premier League champions.
